Prime Hospital Hosts 1st International Surgical Gastroenterology Conference in the Region   
Experts from 19 countries will converge in Dubai to discuss new techniques and treatments focusing on minimally invasive surgery

The leading healthcare provider, Prime Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare Group, will host the DubaiGastrosurg Conference 2015, the first of its kind international surgical gastroenterology meet in the region, to discuss the latest innovations and treatments in gastroenterology, focusing more on minimally invasive surgery.
The conference taking place on Thursday 26 February and for 3 days at Hotel Le Meridien - Dubai, will bring together 25 renowned specialist doctors and professors from across the world, and will be attended by a pool of medical experts from the region and abroad. Key topics will include scar-less procedures in gastro and bariatric surgery which involves high-end equipment, and organ transplant. Speakers will share their expertise and experiences in weight reduction and gastrointestinal with negligible morbidities.

Throughout the three days, market leaders will showcase their equipment and techniques related to the gastro and bariatric surgery to help visitors understand the operation process and results. Moreover, delegates from the National Health Service in the United Kingdom will demonstrate their extensive research work and results to the audience.
The conference is being held in association with the European Surgical Society, European Board of Surgery, European Union of Medical Specialists, as well as being endorsed and given local support from the American College of Surgeons (UAE Chapter) and Emirates Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Interest Group.

Keen on the participation of patients in the conference Prime Healthcare has scheduled a QnA session during the conference where patients and families will meet with experts to get direct insights and opinions on their cases. Also, founders and senior members of the European Board of Surgery (EBS) will explain in detail the process of undergoing the EBS Qualification, which will help surgeons and medical students shape their surgical career with international degrees.
